Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) recently co‑organised the “Shenzhen–Hong Kong 72‑Hour Experience Pass — 2025 China Tech Tour” with the Qianhai Authority. A delegation of 16 PhD holders was invited to visit Hong Kong and Shenzhen, fostering connections among I&T professionals.
The delegation comprised talent from India, New Zealand, the UK, the US and other countries, with backgrounds in entrepreneurship, product development, and R&D engineering. The programme commenced in Shenzhen, then continued in Hong Kong with visits to the University of Science and Technology and the Hong Kong Science Park, where they explored advancements in AI, biomedicine, and global innovation trends.
Mr Felix Chan, the Director of HKTE, engaged with the delegation and emphasised Hong Kong’s unique advantages, its complementary strengths with Shenzhen. He also introduced talent admission schemes to help them seize opportunities in the Greater Bay Area.
