HKTE Seminar Highlights: Business Setup: Launch Smart in Hong Kong – A Practical Roadmap to Starting a Business

Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) recently hosted a themed seminar entitled “Business Setup: Launch Smart in Hong Kong – A Practical Roadmap to Starting a Business”, bringing together industry representatives and entrepreneurs to explore Hong Kong’s business environment and opportunities for talent. The seminar underscored Hong Kong’s role as an international financial centre, an international innovation and technology centre, as well as a strategic gateway connecting the Chinese Mainland and overseas markets.

During the seminar, Mr Adrian Chou provided an overview of recent developments in Hong Kong’s start-up ecosystem and highlighted Hong Kong’s strengths in capital fundraising, business support, talent attraction, all of which reinforce its status as a leading hub and perfect platform for start-up..

Mr Pan Guanhe (Mark) drew on practical business experience to share perspectives on business establishment and operations in Hong Kong. He outlined Hong Kong’s competitive advantages, including its strategic geographical location, simple tax regime, internationally connected financial infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Mr He Gang reflected on his entrepreneurial journey in Hong Kong while discussing opportunities arising from the development of the digital economy and financial technology. 

The speakers further exchanged views on the impact of innovation and technology, digital transformation, and cross-boundary collaboration on Hong Kong’s entrepreneurial landscape and future development opportunities.
