Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) recently hosted the themed seminar, "Unlocking the Job Market: Development Opportunities for Hong Kong's Financial and Accounting Industries", bringing together industry leaders to share insights on Hong Kong's Finance and Accounting industry.
During the seminar, Mr Jing Mingyuan provided a practitioner's perspective on Hong Kong's capital market, highlighting the IPO ecosystem and the collaboration among sponsors, legal advisers, and accountants, while exploring the emerging opportunities and challenges for local finance and accounting professionals.
Ms Lee Shun Yi, Jasmine, discussed the opportunities available to finance and accounting professionals under Hong Kong's Talent List. She highlighted Hong Kong's strengths as an international financial centre, the opportunities within the Greater Bay Area, and the evolving role of professional services in supporting cross-border growth and internationalisation.
Mr Kit Wong introduced professional qualification pathways and career development opportunities in accounting, and shared how accounting professionals can pursue diverse career paths across finance, business, technology, sustainability, and the public sector.
