In the latest World Competitiveness Yearbook (WCY) 2025 published by the International Institute for Management Development (IMD), Hong Kong's global competitiveness rises by two places further to third globally. This marks Hong Kong's return to the global top three for the first time since 2019, particularly excelling in the rankings for "Government efficiency" and "Business efficiency".
