As a result of the global talent shortage, the Hong Kong labour market is under pressure. To alleviate this shortage, the local government announced the establishment of the Talent Service Window and optimization of multiple talent import schemes last year, with the aim of attracting more talents from Mainland China or overseas to work in Hong Kong.
