Hong Kong Talent Engage (HKTE) hosted a seminar "Unlocking the Job Market: New Opportunities in Hong Kong’s Innovation & Technology (I&T) and Digital Intelligence Economy" today.
During the session, Mr Wang Dong provided a comprehensive overview of the national strategies and opportunities within the Greater Bay Area, alongside the latest developments in Hong Kong's I&T ecosystem. He examined emerging job demands driven by industrial progress and offered practical career transition tips for talent.
Mr Zheng Wenbo illustrated how the synergy between Hong Kong and Shenzhen facilitates rapid technological deployment. He shared his personal experience in the local I&T sector, highlighting entrepreneurship as a rewarding career path and explaining how technology enterprises can leverage Hong Kong’s unique resources to scale globally.
Mr Frank Gao also shared the digital intelligence economy and Hong Kong's Web 3.0 development strategy, while further illustrating the essence of the fintech industry and the prospects of Web 4.0. By showcasing the latest industry case studies, he addressed the core requirements for fintech talent and outlined clear pathways for their career development.
The seminar concluded with a dynamic Q&A session moderated by Mr Alvin Lam, where guest speakers exchanged views on the long-term prospects of Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem.
